Very nice! The viola and cello playing the same notes (albeit octaves apart) really works in this context. Love the way it subtly picks up around -3:30. Cool interplay around -2:00.
The levels seem pretty low overall, might want to normalize this.

dolce and triste. The theme has a sense of irony to it. Would love to better hear the cello and piano left hand in the mix. bravo.

sad, emotional, good quality recording, why classical music beats all other types.

I see the new recorder is working well. Good texture (as usual), liked the theme in the first part. Ending seemed a little rushed, but it certainly sounds overall like the influence of a certain Russian is strongly felt. Now make the next one even better!

I love classical music live & hand-made with original instruments. This piece is full of yearning and sadness at the same time... partially with tragic sentiment.

My appreciation!

Sounds beautiful and romantic at the same time. This is perfect background music for a private dinner with a man's wife or girlfriend. I think I'll add this to my playlist for those romantic private times. You have a lot of talent.

Oh niiiiiiceee...

Whoever is playing that viola is really quiet talented (or so i would assume, i dont play viola) and played the emotion in this peice quiet perfectly. It sounded like the piano messed up at 1:41/3:02 (unless that tension was on purpose) and it did it a few times throughout. I think the piano player should have played a bit more softer/legato while the viola/chello pumped out the more stark notes... but this is just my opinion, of course.

I had seen your music but never botherd to download it, but this is so awesome! I am going to have to download more! :) (Smile)

So swell, i love such sounds, although i don't listen to calssical music in general. Nevertheless i love that sort of music! The viola is so beautifully played, and the sound quality is very good too. That's professional music in my opinion.

Your effort and concentration really come through on this piece. I can feel the viola Violin telling me its tale. About a sweet memory that is distant and becomes farther away each day, but the Violin does not want it to be forgotten. Then the cello and piano help to carry the viola and support its memory. They seem to tell the viola that it can be stronger. Great work.

My mouth is literally watering with envy. I'll admit that the mouth-watering is mostly a result of the trail mix I'm munching, but wow! Oh, and around 2:00, the tempo pickup...I'm in love. This is the type of thing that just straight-up inspires me. There's so much to learn! Carnegie-Mellon material all the way. I love the way these three instruments are just conversing...they all get a bit of the spotlight somewhere along the line of the piece, too, which is just sophisticated. I'll have to keep my eye on you. :applause: indeed

Very Good. I have to say I noticed a few minor mistakes but I'm a nitpicker. I know how difficult it is to play a slow piece like this. I love the piece. Anything that draws emotion like this captures my heart. Nice playing.

Are tose notes meant to be as is at 3:00?
Is that a musician mistake, or are the chords meant to be played like that, as a sort of stress and release, scary in feel?
Very contempory. It is pieces like this that made me fall in love with the strings. I would love to play a piece like this some day, much less compose it...
